So I’m over the wheels on this S class. I was going to deal with it, but the PO installed 22 x 10 with improper offsets, so if I hit a big enough bump, the rears rub. Also I have 1 tire with a steady leak.
These are the current:
I’m figuring I can use my tax return to buy replacements then sell these and cover 1/2 the cost.
Anyways, this is what I have been looking at; I keep going back and forth between keeping 22" or gooing back to 20".
22" TSW Interlagos
22" Mandrus Rotec
20" TSW Bardo
20" TSW Chicane
open to suggestions too

I think I like the Bardo the best, of those.

Is there an S-Class that’s already stock? Or can you safely move that car back to stock wheels and not be left with ruined differential and suspension bits?

I second Steve in Manhattan. I love the stock S63 wheels HAHA

Oh sorry - misread - you already own the car. Go back to stock. Or something stock-sized for the car.

I don’t like any of those, lol.
I personally like the look of
these.

My vote goes towards TSW!

I have unique taste but I like the mandrus

I’d say go for 20" as there’s lesser risk of issues, and because I don’t like rims on cars that end up pushing tires to their limits - so to speak. Of the ones you posted, the 20" Chicane would get my vote.

How about 20" BBS LMs?
Or HRE 940RL?

I’d opt for stock wheels, or possibly upgrade to whatever wheels the AMG variant of the S class came with. Good luck on whatever you choose!

I vote stock wheels.
But at the very least you should drop back down to 20". 221's don’t handle oversized wheels particularly well as far as suspension wear, tire wear, and overall handling are concerned. If you take your hands off the wheel at 60mph, does the steering wheel shimmy ever so slightly?

Rotec but in 20s....22 too big for my taste.

Oem all the way. Those are mostly too big and look like they’re trying too hard if I may be blunt.

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me the blacked out wheels always look like they are dirty with brake dust. What you currently have reminds me of a drug dealer/gangster car. Go down to the 20s and buy what YOU like.

Not really loving any of those choices either. In lieu of going back to stock, the Mandrus Mannheim isn’t too bad.

The Bardos remind me of HREs. So that.

I would try to find a set of wheels from a newer gen S class that would look dope

I'm a fan of bigger sidewalls personally but I'm in Michigan and the roads suck which leads to busted rims. I like the contrast of the silver wheels.

I support this

I’d go back to stock and stick with 20" wheels.

you could latch onto some of those steel wheels like everyone else has started to.
